Web2py is a free, open-source web framework for agile development of secure database-driven web applications; it is written in Python and programmable in Python. Web2py is a full-stack framework, meaning that it contains all the components you need to build fully functional web applications.

This book is very well written and provides a brilliant offline and portable manual and/or reference for more than just the beginners. Explains basics of MVC modelling and some very basic python for beginners but also explains some of web2py specific functionality including their parameter options. Covers from startup to application deployment including some example tutorials.
