"Marugoto" is a textbook that aims to help people understand each other while actually communicating in Japanese. Each topic has a scene where people from various cultural backgrounds interact in Japanese, and there are hints for understanding different cultures in various places such as conversation contents, photographs, and illustrations. In addition, we emphasize the role of voice input in language learning, and there are many classroom activities to listen to natural conversations. Achievement goals of each section are set in the form of task execution (Can-do) of "what can be done using Japanese", and Intermediate 1 (B1) understands the main points about familiar topics. However, I aim to be at a level where I can briefly state my intentions and reasons.
