Assessing the Aerosol Impact on Southern West African Clouds and Atmospheric Dynamics

Bằng cách sử dụng COSMO-ART, các mô phỏng nghiên cứu quy trình có độ phân giải cao trong ngày 2-3 tháng 7 năm 2016 được tiến hành để đánh giá tác động của khí dung lên các điều kiện khí tượng của miền Nam Tây Phi. Hiện tượng khí tượng Tăng cường dòng chảy gió mùa buổi tối (EMFE) được xác định là rất dễ bị ảnh hưởng bởi tác động trực tiếp của khí dung, dẫn đến sự dịch chuyển không gian của mặt trận EMFE. Trong chuỗi phản hồi khí dung thứ hai, sự thay đổi khí dung dẫn đến sự dịch chuyển theo thời gian của quá trình chuyển đổi tầng mây sang tích mây.
